About the Public Information OfficeThe City of Nogales Public Information Services is the initial point of contact for members of the public and the media. Here, people can find answers to questions such as: "Who is the best person to talk to about my question?" "How can I contact my council person?" "How does the City work?" and "When do the various committees meet?" Along with handling inquiries, the department prepares a variety of publications that cover issues before the Mayor and Council, provide education about city processes, and offer information for those who want to participate in the process. In tracking daily City activities, the office makes a continual effort to turn complex situations into easy-to-understand text. All publications, including recent press releases are also available on the City Web site. The division provides official photo-documentary services for Council members, including their official headshots, candid shots, and group photos of constituents who visit City Hall.
